For prayer is nothing else than being on terms of friendship with God. It is frequently conversing in secret with God who loves us St. Teresa of Avila Rose of Sharon and Greater Glory Ministries PO Box 18175 West St Paul, MN 55118 |
| * Remember that this is the year to do what we already KNOW to do. And God will do the rest. You think about prayer, but it’s time to pray. You know about praise…but it’s time to “put your praise on”! You know intellectually that you are called to live a life of worship, and you know about the ways of the Lord, but God wants to recapture us, to captivate our hearts in such a way that we continue to press into Him and live lives of devotion, feeding our lives with His. ~ B. Lanzdorf * When you give thanks in everything, you are declaring that God is good, always. Even in the dark, even in the midst of chaos. Even in the midst of circumstances you dont understand, designed by the enemy to cause us to question God's goodness.... God is good. He calls you to actually praise Him in the midst of ALL things, not just to think about it, but to actually praise Him! Because in actually declaring His goodness, your vision becomes realigned with Truth, and in seeing the Truth, it doesnt matter what the enemy throws at you. You will be FREE! ~B. Lanzdorf * Now Faith IS. Faith is not for tomorrow, it's for today. You live in the NOW of God, and in this very moment, all that God IS is with you, and all that He has for you already exists! Reach into the eternal NOW of God and begin to BE what He has already delcared you are. ~B. Lanzdorf * Jesus said, "My sheep know my voice and another they will not follow"...Whose voice do you know? Some of us know pain by listening to the voice of past wounds. Some know bitterness by listening to the voice of past offenses. Or of anger by listening to the voice of injustices...or any lie of the enemy that undermines our confidence in the goodness of God. But Jesus says, Come to Me and learn MY voice. The voice that calms the storm and raises the dead. He is calling our gaze to Him for our benefit, so we can learn Who He IS, and learn to know His voice above all other voices calling for your attention. And in KNOWING His voice, we will not follow another. ~B. Lanzdorf |
